Walter Clur, AMS, CMCA, Certified Accountant, Property Broker

Walter is an AMS and CMCA qualified manager, licensed Real Estate Broker, and a Chartered Accountant (the British equivalent of a CPA) and has been a member of the Hawaii Association of Public Accountants since 1993. He was Principal Broker of Island Property Management until December 2003, where he managed a number of large properties for them on Maui before starting his own company.

The CMCA credential signifies managers have passed the National Board of Certification Community Association Managers's national exam and met the requirements for managing condominium, cooperative, and homeowners' associations. Certified managers must also adhere to the CMCA Standards of Professional Conduct and take continuing education. CA stands for Certified Accountant in Britain (same as CPA here). PB stands for Property Broker; all Homeowners' Association managers must be licensed by the Real Estate Board of the State of Hawaii.

Andrea Clur, AMS, CMCA

Andrea moved from Canada to Maui in 1988, and has extensive experience in management on the mainland and Hawaii. She received her Hawaii Real Estate License in 1997 and is currently pursuing her ABIT accounting degree. She is an AMS CMCA qualified manager through the Community Association Institute.

Shirley Bourdais

Shirley is the administrative assistant; she oversees the Accounts Receivable, seeing to collections and follow up on delinquent accounts. Shirley also works in all areas of the business as required from mail receipt and processing to outgoing mail, reception, site visits and liaison with vendors.

Tim Rothdeutsch

Tim has extensive experience in management, as he was previously employed by Maui Land and Pineapple Company where he was the Maintenance Superintendent. Tim liaises between the Resident Managers and the Boards, and aids in rules enforcement, employee supervision, training, and employee reviews. Tim also handles the violation letters and follows these through to successful resolution.

Shayla Ehrlers

Shayla is responsible for A/P and for the monthly Financial Statements as well as the bank reconciliations and accounting system. Shayla also prepares the documents for the auditors and liaises with state and local agencies.
